supplies. --------------------------------------------------------------- Historical Belton Tour - June 12 & July 10 (7pm ) The Bell County Museum has scheduled the popular evening tour of Belton’s downtown National Historic District. The tour is based on the self-guided walking tour produced by the Belton Area Chamber of Commerce Tourism Committee. Many aspects of Belton and Bell County’s rich history are covered in this event, which should last just over one hour. Topics include shoot-outs along Central Avenue, the 1874 vigilante massacre of Bell County prisoners, a 19th-century female commune, and much more. Participants will meet on the north side of the Bell County Courthouse.
